In September of 2016, KBR finalized the acquisition of Honeywell Technology Solutions, Inc. (HTSI) as part of the company's strategy to expand its government services business, KBRwyle, and welcomed 3,550 employees across the globe to KBRwyle. In the months since, KBRwyle's President Roger Wiederkehr, has led the effort to integrate the technology solutions business into KBRwyle to maximize synergies and leverage its 65 years of experience supporting U.S. government agencies. With the addition of this business, KBRwyle has boosted its role as a leading professional, technical and mission support services organization providing an array of leading edge, custom solutions that drive mission success for customers in the U.S. Department of Defense, NASA, and a variety of other federal agencies.

KBRwyle's technical solutions business is a diverse professional and technical services leader offering world-class managed solutions to federal and select commercial customers. Once assembled and tested, the newly repaired JFS will be stored at a KBRwyle warehouse ready to be issued to the field on demand.

"Our new technical solutions business is a strong strategic and cultural fit for KBRwyle. We are a service focused organization that places high value on people," said Wiederkehr. Noting heritage HTSI's culture of dedication to customers' missions, focus on operational excellence and commitment to ethical principles, he continued, saying, "KBRwyle shares these principles which are the foundation upon which lasting customer relationships are built, customers can achieve and exceed their objectives, employee engagement increases, operating costs are reduced, and ultimately, mission success is accomplished."
