KBR uses real-time performance data from your critical assets to provide vital, valuable insight into the health of your operation.
In today’s age of interconnected technologies and the Internet of Things (IoT), digital resources are an indispensable part of safe, efficient industrial operations. Modern industrial machinery generates a wealth of monitoring data that offers unprecedented awareness, understanding, and actionable insights into your industrial equipment and processes. With the right tools and expertise, you can utilize this data to optimize every facet of your operation — lowering costs and increasing revenues.
“KBR’s remote monitoring solutions and experts keep you connected, informed and aware of your asset health.”
KBR monitoring solutions and operation performance improvement programs can keep you up to date and aware of every relevant detail in your plant operations. We can help you organize and analyze existing data and capture new performance metrics to give you a complete, accurate view of your operational status from minute to minute, and use that information to improve your processes and achieve your business goals.
As a leading process technology licensor, KBR leverages a unique and differentiated solution through KBR INSITE® and expert domain knowledge to provide timely guidance to customers to operate their plants more efficiently, reliably and safely, minimize unplanned downtime and achieve top-quartile performance.
KBR has augmented the customer experience by providing a virtual reality environment to demonstrate a suite of Digital Sustainability Solutions that can be delivered through the KBR INSITE® remote monitoring and advisory service.
TLIS Hub hosted by KBR on the AWS cloud, is a virtual reality customer experience environment that enables KBR to introduce customers to advanced digital solutions that could be demonstrated in the hub for inclusion in the scope-of-work of the KBR INSITE® performance monitoring and advisory service. Customers can enter the TLIS Hub using their own avatars and can interact with both the information presented in the hub as well as with KBR experts as if they were physically visiting the KBR premises for face-to-face discussions and demonstrations. This virtual reality environment is now an integral part of the KBR INSITE® service as it helps KBR to elevate the customer’s maturity level in their digital transformation journey as well as expand their use of KBR’s digital services to enhance the operations of their plant.
KBR proactively utilizes the TLIS Hub to demonstrate the core capabilities of KBR INSITE® to the customer and to review the value proposition of advanced add-on modules such as:
- AI/ML based anomaly detection modules for compressors and other rotating equipment
- AI/ML based predictive models for forecasting uncontrolled process excursions
- First principles-based models for estimating catalyst activity and residual life
- Asset reliability and predictive maintenance modules
For KBR, the overall objective of scheduling such collaboration sessions with customers is to help them select digital solutions that can achieve sustained improvements in production, energy usage, plant uptime, and overall operational efficiency. To illustrate this, the following two case studies are provided below:
- Iowa Fertilizer Company, ammonia plant, Wever, Iowa
- OCI Beaumont, methanol-ammonia plant, Beaumont, Texas
