“KBR maintains a highly qualified workforce to help care for the mind, body, and soul of elite warriors like the U.S. Special Operations Forces and astronauts around the world.”

Through KBR’s Human Health and Performance Contract (HPPC) with NASA, our scientists, technicians and medical personnel have worked with nearly every U.S. astronaut and crew since 1968. From pre-launch risk mitigation to in-flight space medicine and vehicle landing biomarkers, KBR’s medical experts work to optimize the physical and psychological well-being of astronauts while managing a lifetime of health surveillance from the moment they enter the program. Additionally, one of the primary goals and integral part of mission success is to support crew members’ families at home so the astronauts stay focused on their mission objectives knowing their loved ones are well taken care of.

Similarly, KBR’s Preservation of the Force and Family contract supports SOF by increasing their physical, mental, social and spiritual capacity over their careers. As threats and environments evolve, our main goal is keeping clients at the top of their game and stabilized. By analyzing individualized data, our team of experts guide tactical athletes to better understand their limits, behaviors and decisions, greatly decreasing the rate of physical and emotional injuries, and significantly accelerating return to duty times in the process.
