KBR opens new office in Jakarta

Publish date

On 12th November, we were delighted to open our brand-new KBR office in Jakarta, a significant milestone that highlights our expanding presence across Southeast Asia and our commitment to supporting major energy and consulting projects in Indonesia.

Around 190 guests attended the opening ceremony, including KBR colleagues, clients, and partners, who came together to hear speeches from KBR leadership, including Paul Baillie, Thomas Horden, and Bagus Ramadhan, followed by the official ribbon cutting and the traditional tumpeng cutting ceremony. Guests were also treated to a vibrant Balinese dance performance that showcased the richness of local culture, before gathering for a group photo session and enjoying lunch together.

The Jakarta office has been established as a strategic location which strengthens our ability to collaborate closely with clients and partners in the region, and will serve as a hub for several key projects, including the Abadi Project and provide support to the Singapore Office for the P-series Project, the Bul Hanine Project, and a range of consulting engagements. Thank you to those who have been involved in successfully opening the office and for the hard work that will take place there as we continue to collaborate with one another globally and deliver excellence in all we do.

Paul Baillie, Senior Vice President, ISI, said, “The opening of our Jakarta office is more than a celebration, it’s a commitment to building lasting partnerships in Indonesia and delivering world-class solutions on projects that matter. This new space represents our confidence in KBR’s future here and our belief in the incredible talent and opportunities in the region.”
