HOUSTON, July 21, 2026 – KBR (NYSE: KBR) announced key technology capabilities within its Mission Technology Solutions business to support Golden Dome for America, the nation’s next-generation missile defense initiative. KBR leverages deep domain expertise in joint integrated air and missile defense, space domain awareness, Counter-Unmanned Aircraft Systems (C-UAS) and directed energy to transform complex mission data into actionable insights at speed, accelerating decision advantage for American warfighters.

KBR delivers platform-neutral integration solutions that connect complex systems across combatant commands, federal agencies and joint operational environments, enabling a unified, interagency approach. The company reduces government risk and compresses development timelines through rapid digital engineering, advanced data integration and threat simulation. Harnessing the full potential of human experience and AI-powered engineering tools, KBR addresses technical challenges, including space-based sensing, hypersonic systems, drone threats and system resilience.  

In support of Golden Dome, KBR holds a seat on the Missile Defense Agency’s Scalable Homeland Innovative Enterprise Layered Defense (SHIELD) multiple-award, Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract, which has a total ceiling value of $151 billion across all awardees. In addition, KBR’s ongoing work and current contracts spanning critical missions validate Golden Dome priorities and needs:  

• Digital Engineering and Decision Support:  
  • KBR will accelerate the transition of next-generation space mission capabilities from concept to deployment for the U.S. Space Force through the $95 million, five-year Digital Engineering and Enterprise Decision Support contract awarded in 2026.  
  • KBR advances digital engineering and assured communications under the U.S. Space Force – Decision Support for Headquarters Analysis contract, awarded in 2026 through a firm-fixed-price task order totaling $77 million over three years.  
  • KBR is establishing a state-of-the-art testing and training environment for the U.S. Space Force, using its digital engineering ecosystem to enhance decision-making, under the Design Implementation for Collaborative Environment task order, awarded in 2025 with a ceiling value of $98.7 million over three years.  
• Space Domain Awareness: KBR provides support in operating and maintaining advanced experimental equipment, analyzing data and managing the modernization of mission systems at the Air Force Maui Optical and Supercomputing Site (AMOS) under the Advanced Space Technology Research and Optimization contract. Awarded in 2025 by the Air Force Research Laboratory, the contract has a $176 million ceiling value over seven years.  
• PATRIOT Missile System Enhancements: For more than four decades, KBR has provided mission-critical technical and engineering services for the PATRIOT air and missile defense system, including a $207 million, five-year task order awarded in 2022.
• C-UAS Support and Sustainment: KBR supports counter-unmanned systems that provide detection, characterization, identification and mitigation capabilities for the U.S. Navy under a $52.6 million contract awarded in 2026.

KBR has promoted Daniel Dant to Vice President of Strategic Initiatives to lead its pursuit of Golden Dome opportunities. Dant dedicated his 26-year Air Force career to the national security space enterprise. He commanded the 460th Space Wing at Buckley Air Force Base and served as the aide-de-camp to the commander of the Air Force Space Command. As space policy director for the Office of the Secretary of Defense, Dant pioneered a new strategic posture for threats to U.S. space capabilities.  

Jay Lennon, President of Mission Technology Solutions Defense and Intel division, will also drive the company’s Golden Dome strategy. Lennon, a 25-year Air Force veteran, oversees KBR’s national security and defense technology portfolios. He will bring together the company’s core strengths to prioritize speed in supporting the Department of War.
