Join the Team Behind the Mission

The SVA National Conference (NatCon) is the largest gathering of student veterans anywhere in the world. At KBR, we are committed to the hiring and advancement of our veterans across all our Government Solutions business units, including areas of science and space, readiness and sustainment, defense and engineering, and national intelligence. KBR’s extensive support of the U.S. and UK. governments and their allies includes offering former service members new and exciting opportunities to continue serving their countries while forging a fulfilling civilian career.

We invite you to visit KBR’s team of recruiters during the 15th annual NatCon at booth #409 to learn more about how you can transform your military career to a civilian career at KBR!

  • A partnership with NextOp allows KBR to leverage their services in support of our veteran community. NextOp recruits, develops, and places high-performing, middle- enlisted (E-3 to E-7) post 9/11 military leaders into industry careers. Their employment coordinators work one on one with transitioning service members by matching them with employers for internship and apprenticeship opportunities through the Department of Defense's SkillBridge Program.
  • Through our partnership with nonprofit Hiring Our Heroes, KBR helps find employment opportunities for service members transitioning from active duty. KBR hosts participants from Hiring Our Heroes’ 12-week Corporate Fellowship Program, providing valuable hands-on experience with the intent to hire for relevant vacancies.
  • SkillBridge is a DoD program that allows a unique opportunity for service members to gain valuable civilian work experience through specific industry training, apprenticeships, or internships during the last 180 days of service. SkillBridge connects service members with industry partners in real-world job experiences.
  • KBR partners with the University of Houston Supply Chain & Logistics Technology program to offer students — including veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces — a robust mentoring setting and exposure to real-life supply chain challenges.
