- Gippsland Water's Drouin Wastewater Treatment Plant located in Victoria is being augmented to meet a 2050 design horizon, with a new membrane bioreactor activated sludge mechanical treatment plant. This will deliver an energy efficient plant with low operations and maintenance labour requirements and minimise life-cycle costs.
Project Highlights
- KBR completed the functional and detailed design for the upgrade which included new fine screens, membrane bioreactor and aeration systems, a sludge dewatering facility, chemical dosing and odour treatment plants a new operations building and associated civil, electrical and control works.
