Project Details

The Gemini project is a high-density polyethylene (HDPE) facility that produces 470 kilotons per year of bimodal HDPE using Innovene™ S process technology, licensed from INEOS Technologies.

The Gemini project is located on the ship channel east of Houston on the 300-acre INEOS Battleground Manufacturing Complex.

The new, single-train facility includes new polymerization, pelletization, and railcar load-out facilities in addition to upgrades to existing utilities and infrastructure. The main project areas included:

  • Reactor / Degasser Structure

  • Cooling Tower
  • Flare
  • MCC
