KBR Raises $1.5 Million for Charity at its 19th Annual Charity Golf Tournament
KBR’s 19th annual charity golf tournament brought together more than 400 golfers at the Clubs of Kingwood in Texas on October 20, raising over $1.5 million for charities. The tournament was planned by IMPACT, KBR’s early career professionals group, showcasing the power of community and giving back.
“We’re incredibly proud of the impact our annual charity golf tournament continues to have,” said John Thomson, Chief Information Officer and golf tournament executive sponsor at KBR. "Raising over $1.53 million this year is a testament to the generosity of our partners, vendors, the dedication of our early career professionals in IMPACT, and our shared commitment to supporting organizations that align with KBR’s values. We’re excited to welcome everyone back for next year’s tournament, which marks the 20th anniversary of the golf tournament – and we’re planning to make it one to remember.”
Since 2007, the KBR Charity Golf Tournament has raised more than $13.2 million. Every year, funds raised from the tournament go to organizations that align with KBR’s values. This year’s charitable recipients are:
