KBR Statement Regarding Sodium Dichromate Litigation

The assertion has been made the KBR knowingly harmed troops. KBR actually found the chemical and took precautions to prevent exposure to the subcontractors who working in the area. We also notified the US Army Corp of Engineers and led the efforts to remediate the soil around the area.

The healthcare providers for the plaintiffs in this case have found no signs or symptoms of acute exposure to sodium dichromate or chromium hexavalent. Further, several of the plaintiffs have been told by their healthcare providers that they do not suffer from the exposure related injuries that the plaintiffs claim KBR is responsible for.
