KBR Names Technology Senior Vice President
Houston, Texas - July 21, 2008 - KBR (NYSE:KBR) today announced John Derbyshire as the Company's Senior Vice President for KBR's Technology business unit. Based in Houston, Derbyshire's responsibilities include commercial management, sales, marketing, strategy and acquisitions.

Derbyshire joined KBR this year, serving as Vice President, Commercial Management. Prior to joining KBR, he served as Vice President and General Manager, Global Solution Business at Invensys Process Systems. In his role at Invensys, Derbyshire had oversight of a $180 million, 500 person global business unit that provided engineering and asset management technology, software systems and related professional services to the process and power industries.
