KBR Names New Government and Infrastructure Vice President, Europe, Africa and Middle East

Houston, Texas - July 17, 2008 - KBR (NYSE:KBR) today announced Danny Grand as the Company's Vice President, Europe, Africa and Middle East for KBR's Government and Infrastructure (G&I) business unit. Based in Abu Dhabi, Grand's responsibilities will include oversight of KBR's Civil Infrastructure business in the region.

Grand's tenure at KBR spans more than 25 years. Since 2003, he has served as the Sales and Marketing Director for KBR G&I's Europe, Africa and Middle East Business. Since March of this year, Grand has served as Acting Vice President of KBR G&I's Europe, Africa and Middle East Infrastructure with oversight of key projects that include the Yas Island PMC in Abu Dhabi, the Palm PMC in Dubai, and the Barrow Offshore Windfarm, Scottish Water and National Grid Tunnel Projects in the United Kingdom.
