KBR Services Projects Recognized at National Safety Conference

Two KBR Services Projects - Sterling Chemicals in Texas City, Texas and the Alliance Refinery of ConocoPhillips in Belle Chase, Louisiana - received an Award for Meritorious Safety Performance. The award was presented at the National Petrochemical and Refiners Association (NPRA) Annual National Safety Conference.

The Award for Meritorious Safety Performance is based on records kept for employees in accordance with OSHA recordkeeping requirements. KBR was one of sixty-one associate member companies recognized for excellent safety performance.

The presentation of the NPRA Safety Awards is part of a comprehensive safety awards program developed by the association's Safety & Health Committee to promote accident prevention in the petroleum refining and petrochemical manufacturing industries, and to publicly recognize the excellent record of operational safety that the industry has achieved.
