ATOMAX-2™: Optimal yields, reliability and low oil pressure requirement.

KBR's ATOMAX-2™ feed nozzle modules feature 43 percent smaller droplet size than leading ATOMAX-1™ nozzles. This provides 5 times more droplets in any given feed volume. The ATOMAX-2™ nozzles provide better coverage of the riser cross section by maintaining a flat fan-shaped spray pattern. In addition, the ATOMAX-2™ ensures more uniform atomization across the spray because of the consistent droplet size achieved. The nozzles have 10-15 percent lower pressure drop than ATOMAX-1™. The technology can be provided in the form of complete feed nozzle module including riser section, nozzles and piping.
