Drawing on our years of experience responding to crisis situations of many kinds, we are also capable of providing valuable assistance in the creation of emergency response plans.
KBR has been first on the scene in the wake of many disasters, providing critical support when it was needed most. We built a 7,500-man base camp, which included work and sleep quarters, electrical power and food services for first responders in Belle Chase, Louisiana, after Hurricane Katrina. When Hurricane Ivan struck the Florida Panhandle, our employees were deployed within 24 hours and were doing $1 million worth of daily recovery work within a week.
