KBR Downstream serves clients in the petrochemical, refining, coal gasification and syngas markets, executing FEED and EPC projects throughout the world. We leverage KBR's differentiated process technologies, but also execute projects and complexes using non-KBR technologies.

We are proud of our recent major projects in Egypt and Saudi Arabia. Where the Saudi Kayan project has changed construction practices whereby a night shift was used to increase productivity while safety standards were maintained. Saudi Kayan will be the world's largest ethylene plant when it comes onstream in 2010.

Recent awards for Downstream include new refineries in Angola and South Africa, we are executing PMC roles for the Ras Tanura complex, a JV between Dow and Saudi Aramco, and the Yanbu Export refinery for a JV between Saudi Aramco and Conoco-Phillips.
